The MTLB is a lighter and less armed APC than the BMP range.

It houses a light MG in a small turret.

It is mainly used for Towing artillery pieces, like the MT-12 A/T gun and mortars although they seemed to be used as general APC’s in most war zones.

Used by all Warpact counties and others around the world, it has been in service since the early 70’s.

The MT-12 gun was a smoothbore gun & came into service in the early 70’s and was often towed by the MTLB Blade tractor and it used by quite a few countries worldwide.
