The MAN range of 4×4, 6×6 & 8×8 trucks were purchased to replace the entire range of older, Bedford, Leyland, Foden, Daf & other makes of truck in service with the British Army in 2008.

There are 2 main types the HX range & the better off road SX range, although looking very similar they differ mainly in suspension design and the placement of the spare wheel.

The British versions are called the SV fleet and have GB made bodywork but look very similar to the other man trucks used by many nations worldwide.

This is the SVR recovery vehicle and replaced the Foden 6×6 recovery vehicle.

Some models may have added extras like stowage added and is not included.
