The M561 Gama Goat was designed as an all terrain supply truck for the US forces.
It came into service in the early 70’s and was first used in Vietnam and was not that successful as it required a good driver to operate it, it was also very noisy.
It was replaced in service by the Humvee.
There was also an ambulance version.
