The Faun Kraka was used from the late 60’s by the West German airborne forces to provide mobility and to carry heavy weapons around the battlefield, often flown in by

CH53 helicopters and were used to plug gaps in the defences where the enemy might break through.

It is very similar to the USA Mechanical Mule.

There were several variants including cargo, mortar, ATGW & 20mm cannon armed versions.

This model has the 120mm mortar in the carrying position on the rear.

The model includes a driver.
