The use of mines by enemy forces brought out various methods of getting the neutralised during WW2, this was the M4 Sherman variant as used on D-Day onwards by the British Army in NWE.

A set of arms held a drum which was powered by the tank engine and drove the roller around flailing chains which hit the ground and when it hit a mine it exploded.

It proved very effective on D-day and where ever it was used.

The conversion should fit any 1/72 scale M4 but the real ones were mounted on the longer M4A4 version.

4 were supplied to the US Army as well.
