The various 1/72 Churchill tank models do not come with any of the AVRE s fittings or attachments as developed by the 79th Armoured Division before D-Day in june 44.

The sand on the D-Day beaches was found to be very soft clay in places so the 79th Armd Div came up with a few different types of carpet rolls to enable the tanks & other vehicles to get off the beach without getting stuck, this is the type ‘D’ version of the Bobbin carpet layer.
