The Chieftain was the British Army’s main battle tank from the early 60’s and was still in service as a gun tank into the 90’s.

This is the Willich AVRE version which mounted a adjustable frame for carrying pipe fascines and other engineering stores.

It was built at REME base workshops in  #Willich in Germany in the late 80’s and only 17 were built.

The model includes a pipe fascine.
