Description
This odd weapon was developed for the Russian Para forces, it was a fully automatic mortar firing standard 82mm mortar rounds but at a much higher rate than a standard mortar.
It normaly was transported in the back of a Gaz 66 4×4 gs truck along with the ammunition and was lowered down on a set of ramps but could be fired from the truck bed.
There was also an MTLB version with it mounted in the rear body.
It saw widespread use in Afghanistan during the Russian invasion.
There is not a lot of information about how this weapon was deployed or who it served with.
