Description
Near the end of the war the welded hull M4 Sherman was fitted with the complete cast front from the late hulled M4A1, making the variant called the hybrid.
It was available in both 75mm and 17pdr VC Firefly versions, it had the same properties as the base M4 and shared the same drive train ect. The British used quite a few of them in NWE and the US also had them including the Pacific theater.
The conversion is designed for any of the Armourfast M4’s as it only uses the lower hull, turret and running gear, a simple conversion to make an unusual tank type.
