Description
The standard wheeled apc of the British Army in the early Cold War period.
It mounted the same turret with .30 col mg as the Ferret A/car and was widely used from 1952 and was still being used in northern Ireland into the 80’s.
There were several variants including ambulance, command and artillery command vehicles.
It saw combat in various wars including the Malaya campaign, Aden, Yom Kippur, Nigeria and Lebanon and was used by over 20 nations, mainly those friendly to the uk.
