Description
The M992 art resupply vehicle shared a lot of the components of theM109 sp gun as was used to resupply the M109’s in the field.
The standard resupply vehicle was originally the M548 cargo carrier but being unarmoured was too vulnerable to artillery strikes, so the M992 was developed.
It carried ammunition inside and had a conveyor belt to supply ammunition to the sp gun.
This is the M992A1 version built for the Egyptian army had a front mounted crane.
