Description
After battle experience in Afghanistan during the 80’s the Russian army realized that the standard bmp2 was under armoured so developed the D variant which had extra armour on the hull and turret as the Mujaheddin wer able to knock the bmp 2 out with captured 12.7 and 14/5 mm hmg’s.
