Description
This vehicle was developed for the Russian para forces as a replacement for the ASU 57, whose 57mm gun was proving to be too small for the time.
This combined the PT76 light tank chassis with the 85mm gun from the famous T34/85 tank.
This model was one of the first of the 15 club suggestions to be released.
The ASU-85 was one of the few Russian vehicles not to be widely used elsewhere, only exported to Poland.
